Tell us a little about you and what inspired you to become an Aesthetician
Hey there! I’m Chloe, a Northern Indiana esthetician, educator, festival lover, and coffee enthusiast. My passion for beauty started when I was a toddler, putting lipstick on my grandma in her bathroom mirror. In high school, I became fascinated with makeup and started offering makeup services for friends and family for special
occasions.
After high school, I immediately pursued my esthetics license, and it didn’t take long for me to realize how much I loved every aspect of the industry. Like many estheticians, I also struggled with acne as a teen, and learning how my skin worked (and how to care for it) sparked a deeper passion for skincare.
A few years later, I was offered an incredible opportunity to earn my instructor license and began teaching at 20 years old. I stumbled into education without realizing how fulfilling it would be—or how much personal growth I would experience—in a role that allowed me to help guide future professionals. That experience gave me the confidence and motivation to continue my education and eventually open my solo practice, Pro Glo Skincare.
Now, years later, I’ve built my dream business specializing in client education and holistic treatments. I recently transitioned from a suite rental to a full storefront and hosted my ribbon-cutting ceremony and grand opening in September. Eek!
How long have you been an aesthetician, and what is your favorite thing about your job?
I’ve been a licensed esthetician for eight years and an instructor for five. It’s hard to choose just
one favorite part of my job, but there’s nothing quite like the moment when a client takes a deep breath at the end of a treatment and says, “Wow, that was incredible. Do I have to get up?”
That moment perfectly captures why I love what I do. Helping people feel beautiful and confident in their skin is deeply rewarding, but being able to nourish someone’s soul during that time is what truly fulfills me.
How has Skin Script changed your business?
I’ve always believed it’s so much easier to retail products you genuinely believe in. Finding a skincare line that I really align with has allowed me to shift from feeling like a salesperson to viewing retail as a way to meet my clients’ needs—with full confidence in their results.
It’s also so refreshing to work with a brand that puts both its customers and education at the heart of everything it does. Skin Script really notices its estheticians and shows us we matter to them—and that’s a great feeling.
What is the last song you played on Spotify?
“Live Well” by Palace
Where is the best place you’ve ever been?
Definitely Colorado. My husband and I lived in Denver for a short while, and it quickly became our favorite place. The music scene is amazing, the coffee is top-tier, and those just happen to be my two favorite things!
If you won a sweepstake that gave you a lifetime supply of anything, what would you choose?
Concert or festival tickets, for sure!
What are the Skin Script Products you can’t live without
This was the hardest question because I love them all so much… but if I had to choose…I’ve been loving the ageless skin hydrating moisturizer, as well as the Mandelic Brightening Serum. I also love some golden honey nourishing mask for my massage medium, and an honorable mention to blueberry enzyme 💜
