Tell us about yourself and what inspired your to become an Aesthetician?
I’m a solo aesthetician and bridal makeup artist based in Kalamazoo, MI, and the owner of Arcane Beauty. I’ve always loved makeup, but my passion for skincare really began in 2022
after struggling with acne myself. Estheticians made a bigger impact on my skin journey than dermatologists ever did, and that experience inspired me to dive deeper into the world of skin care.
Blending aesthetics with my bridal makeup business felt like the perfect fit. I get to help brides not only look beautiful on their wedding day but also feel confident in their skin leading up to it!
How long have you been an aesthetician and what is your favorite part?
I’ve been an aesthetician for just over three years, and what I love most – aside from helping people feel confident – is that no two appointments are ever the same. Ever client brings a new challenge that pushes me, teaches me, and helps me grow. I genuinely love expanding my knowledge and exploring everything this industry has to offer!

My favorite place has to be Salem, MA. I have been 5 times!

How has Skin Script changed your business?
Skin Script was introduced to me while I was in my aesthetics program.
