Tell us about you and what inspired you to become an Aesthetician?
Hey baes! My name is De’Aundria, and I’m a very proud Houstonian—born and raised. IJuly 2025 Aesti of the Month De’Aundria Hartford headshot come from a big family, I have a dog named Dash, and my favorite color is purple. I’ve been in the beauty industry since 2014.

I started out as a makeup artist—my first love—but I’ve always been passionate about skincare too. When I was 18, my mom let me get my first Brazilian wax. I fell in love with it and knew right away that I wanted to become a waxer! After that appointment, I went home, did a deep dive into the waxing industry, and decided I definitely wanted to go to aesthetics school.
While working at Sephora, we would do mini facials to prep our clients’ skin for makeup applications, and they would always ask me for skincare recommendations. It was a full-circle moment when I realized I could go to school and actually make a living doing everything I love.
At the time, there weren’t many Black aestheticians in my area, so I knew from the beginning that I wanted to specialize in skin of color. Almost eight years in, I’m a happy girl! I absolutely love being July 2025 Aesti of the Month De’Aundria Hartford in treatment room.an aesthetician and representing for Black aestheticians everywhere.

I don’t have Spotify, but of course it was Beyoncé-Cowboy Carter!

Where or what is the best place, you’ve ever been to?
St. Thomas and I’ll be back there in September for my birthday!

What are your must have Skin Script Products?
I legit must always have the Golden Honey Nourishing Mask, Cucumber Hydration Toner, Ageless Lip Treatment (Peppermint) and Cacteen Balancing Moisturizer.

How has Skin Script changed your business?
Where do I start? I started my solo practice in 2020, searching for a brand that aligned with my values and could help me deliver the results my clients needed—and deserved. The positive impact this brand has had on my business and on my professional growth outside of the treatment room has been such a blessing.

It’s allowed me to build my own brand by retailing these amazing products and connecting with other pros—and future pros—through education.
