Tell us a little about you and what inspired you to become an Aesthetician?
I wanted to become an aesthetician because of my OWN skin issues. I’ve had eczema all my life and acne into my early 
adult life. My goal is to make people feel great about the skin they’re in no matter what it looks like and find a customized routine that fits each individual person. During Covid I was in college for a history degree, big jump I know, and the lockdown really made me sit and think hard about what my true goal is with a career. While I love history, skincare has always been in my life and even before school I was incredibly passionate about it. Also, I have always been obsessed with extraction videos, so that’s another plus to having this job. LOL
How long have you been an aesthetician and what is your favorite thing about your job?
I’ve been an aesthetician since 2021, insane to think it’s been almost four years. I truly love everything about this job, the fact that I can go to work without it feeling like work makes everything seem like I’m just doing a hobby I love!
How has Skin Script changed your business?
Skin Script has changed GlowStudios in such a positive way, it allows my clients to have approachable options for home care. They no longer have to decide between a $140 serum or a facial. My clients LOVE Skin Script so much that the fan favorites don’t stay on the shelves for more than two weeks when we restock! Skin Script enzymes are so incredible and versatile, you can always boost or buffer them for your client’s needs. Treatments continue to provide excellent results AND it doesn’t get boring or stagnant as a provider!
What are the Skin Script Products you cannot live without?
The main product I cannot be without is the Glycolic and Retinol Pads. I can’t even remember how many of those I’ve been through since starting with Skin Script! We can never keep in stock because EVERYBODY loves them and they’re incredibly versatile. Shout out to the Charcoal Clay Cleanser too, my oily congested clients will always love that cleanser!

Where or what is the best place,
you’ve ever been to?
The best place I’ve been to by far is Bavaria, Germany. I cannot put into words how beautiful it is! It was truly life changing! Experiencing the physical beauty and being shown a slower side of life, since the DMV area is always hustle and bustle, was amazing. I am extremely thankful that my partner is from there, so I get a reason to visit often!
What is the most embarrassing thing that has happened in the treatment room?
The most embarrassing moment was in the beginning of my career, the ring light I was using broke mid treatment and luckily enough it only fell on me. It was the perfect shape to fall right over my head and land on my neck like it was a collar LOL, client was all okay and we shared a good laugh.
What would you pick if you won a sweepstake that gave you a lifetime supply of anything you wanted?
My perfect sweepstake would include two things: tinted mineral sunscreen and kabobs. If my skin is protected and I can have good food, I’ll be a happy woman forever!
