Tell us about yourself and what inspired your to become an Aesthetician?
HI everyone! My name is Karen Scott, and I’m from Houston, TX. I am a wife, girl mom, and a content creator who has always been obsessed with all 
things beauty and antique items. My own struggles with acne as a teenager first inspired me to become an aesthetician, because I know how it feels to want confidence in your skin.
My passion for skincare and love of creating small self-care rituals inspired me to launch my solo business, Beautea House, with the vision of building a space where everyone who walks through the door feels truly seen, heard, and cared for in their skincare journey. I see my clients not just as guests, but as longtime friends who come over for tea time, where we relax, unwind, and share what’s new in our lives – while also healing their skin.
How long have you been an aesthetician and what is your favorite part?
I’ve been licensed for four years, and my favorite part is watching my clients’ confidence blossom. Many come to me feeling discouraged by their skin, sometimes even hiding in the background of their own lives. Seeing their skin transform not only their physical appearance but also their mental well-being is truly rewarding. I also love being able to share my knowledge and help educate fellow aestheticians.

Where or what is the best place, you’ve ever been to?
The most beautiful place I’ve ever been is Maui, Hawaii. It’s absolutely breathtaking – a place where I can truly disconnect and escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
