Skin Type

  • Normal to dry
  • Sun damaged
  • Hyperpigmentation or melasma

Key Ingredients

  • L-Lactic Acid (20%) is an alpha hydroxy acid working as an exfoliant, which allows dead skin cells to slough off and make room for regrowth of new skin.  It improves roughness, softens skin, and improves the appearance of wrinkles.
  • Alpha-Arbutin (5%) is a non-irritating skin brightener. It is an excellent alternative to hydroquinone.
  • Kojic Acid (3%) inhibits melanin production by inhibiting tyrosinase. It also provides gradual and continual skin brightening to relieve skin discolorations.

Tips for Use

  • After cleansing and degreasing the skin, apply a generous layer, with a fan brush. Leave it on for 5-7 minutes based on the client’s sensitivity and tolerance. Remove well with baking soda/water neutralization solution.
  • This is a gentle peel and is great for first-time use on your clients.
  • Visible peeling generally does not occur.
  • To make a power facial, mix in ½ pump of this peel to any enzyme for extra hydration. Apply it to your client’s skin for 7 – 10 minutes with steam. This could be considered double exfoliation, so check with your Board of Cosmetology and professional liability insurance company before combining exfoliation methods within one treatment.
