Skin Type

Dry/Sensitive Skin: May experience a higher tingle during application; omit steam or dilute with White Truffle Mask as needed.

Normal/Oily/Resilient Skin: Enzyme can be boosted with a pump of Lactic Acid for hydration or a pump of Glycolic Acid for more exfoliating benefits.

Key Ingredients

Black Truffle Enzyme

  • Glycolic Acid (5%) weakens desmosomes, allowing dead skin cells to slough off to reveal healthier, smoother, brighter-looking skin.
  • Mandelic Acid (.25%) is a larger molecular weight alpha hydroxy acid with antibacterial properties and works as an exfoliant, allowing dead skin cells to slough off, making room for regrowth of new skin. Improves wrinkling, roughness, and softens skin.
  • Tuber Magnatum Extract (Truffle Extract) is white truffle which is an excellent antioxidant.
  • Coconut Charcoal Powder (derived from coconut husks) gives this enzyme its color, but it is an extremely porous, purified powder that acts like a sponge attracting impurities and excess oil from the skin. (Think of a magnet pulling metal toxins such as pollution from our cells.)
  • Ceramide NP locks in moisture and prevents trans-epidermal water loss.
  • Tsuga Canadensis Leaf Oil is good for reducing the appearance of blemishes, and offers skin cleansing benefits.

White Truffle Mask

  • Tuber Magnatum Extract (Truffle Extract) is a white truffle that is an excellent antioxidant.
  • GlycodermTM (P) is a combination of water, honey, phospholipids, sphingolipids, and hyaluronic acid. It restores the lipid barrier of the epidermis and increases water absorption in the corneocytes by adding natural moisturizing factors. It plumps and moisturizes the skin and improves the skin’s ability to hold moisture.
  • Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba Esters) is moisturizing, balances oil production, and provides barrier protection.
  • Bisabolol (L-Alpha) acts as an anti-inflammatory, promotes wound healing, reduces sensitivity, and alleviates heat while soothing skin irritation.
  • Allantoin to reduce inflammation and soothe skin.
  • Ceramide NP locks in moisture and prevents trans-epidermal water loss.
