Tell us about yourself and what inspired your to become an Aesthetician?
For starters, I’m the wife of the most supportive man in the world and a proud mom of four amazing children. I graduated from aesthetics school in 2015 and currently work as an aesthetic instructor at a well-known university in Puerto Rico. I’m also a small business owner-my practice, An Angel’s Touch, has been my passion project and the space where I get to share my love for skin health with my clients every day.
I was always the “glamorous one” in my family-I loved make up and styling my hair. When I began cosmetology school, I remember walking into one of the classrooms filled with everything for skincare and facial/body treatments. At the time, aesthetics wasn’t offered as a stand-alone program.
I was fascinated by the entire scene and quickly became curious about how to make that my profession. Even though I enjoyed the classes I was taking, something was missing-especially after experiencing that classroom. I couldn’t get it out of my head. So, I started searching, and there is was; Puerto Rico has technical schools that offered a complete curriculum to become an aesthetician.
How long have you been an aesthetician and what is your favorite part?
I’ve been an aesthetician for about 10 years, and honestly, I’m in awe of what we can accomplish with the right tools, products, and ingredients. The excitement of seeing changes in the skin never gets old. I also love educating peaple-I never get tired of it. Through my business, An Angel’s Touch, I’ve had the privilege of creating a safe, welcoming space where clients not only see results but also feel cared for. Truly, I can’t picture myself doing anything else.
What is the last song you played on Spotify?
“Él Es” by Isabel Valdez, Tercer Cielo, and Marcos Yaroide (the title translates to He Is.) It’s a classic Christian song that reminds me God is everything and that I can do anything through Him.
Where or what is the best place, you’ve ever been to?
So, your girl went to New York last November-my dream trip since I was young. I used to tell my mom, “Once I turn 18, I’m moving to NY.” The trip showed my that New York is for the tough and brave. HAHA! I loved it! I wanted to go back this year, but I’ll save it for March 2026 for the International Esthetics, Cosmetic and Spa Conference, where Skin Script will have a booth and classes. I can’t wait!
What are your must have Skin Script Products?
Definitely a tough question. I’d have to say: Pineapple Enzyme (CANNOT work without it), Honey Brightening Cleanser (both in the treatment room and at home), Cucumber Hydration Toner, and the Golden Honey Nourishing Mask. Of course, can’t forget the Ageless Lip Treatment.
How has Skin Script changed your business?
Oh! Not just my business-my personal life has been transformed as well. I’ve tried many, many brands, but none compare to Skin Script. It makes me feel confident and assured of the outcome I’ll achieve. My clients love it too, which is definitely a plus!
